Tour Plan
Arrive at any time. Airport pickup and trip briefing.
Mountain flight to Lukla (2,860m), then descend to Phakding.
Enter Sagarmatha National Park and cross the high suspension bridges to Namche Bazaar (3,440m).
Excursion to Thame and Khumjung, the green village, with Everest views.
6–7 hrs through rhododendron forest to Tengboche Monastery (3,860m).
Descend to the Imja valley and climb to Dingboche (4,410m).
Opt to hike to Chhukung or Nagarzhang Peak.
Hike along the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche (4,940m) with spectacular Nuptse views.
Cross the Changri Glacier to Gorak Shep, then reach Everest Base Camp (5,364m).
Early climb to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for sunrise over Everest, descend to Pheriche.
Descend through Pangboche, with its great gompa, to Tengboche.
Continue the descent, staying in the small village of Monjo.
Final trail day back to Lukla — celebrate with the crew.
Scenic flight back to Kathmandu; evening free.
